We live in Mississauga, Ontario and we had an August wedding in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia where my parents live. Planning a wedding in NS while in Ontario had its challenges. When looking for a professional photographer, we did much of our searching online. One of my sisters recommended Moments in Time photography. We checked out the website. We were impressed with the samples of Joe’s work that he posted there. We liked the style of the shots/poses. We read many of the testimonials from Joe’s previous customers. When we contacted Moments In Time to discuss the possibility of them travelling to New Glasgow for a small outdoor wedding on a Friday evening and package pricing, we were very pleased with what they could offer. We were not having a big elaborate wedding but we really wanted someone who we would have confidence in as photos were important to us.Most of our communication was through phone and email. Joe and Janane were always very personable and prompt in getting back to us. We met in person a week before the wedding, saw samples of his work, talked about the kind of shots we wanted him to include, and finalized the plan for the pre wedding, wedding and post wedding photos. After our meeting, we became more confident that Joe will do an excellent job capturing the moments and emotions of our wedding.Joe and his assistant photographer did a terrific job on the wedding day. Their reliability, flexibility, and professionalism impressed us. They were patient and easygoing and they helped us all relax on the big day.We were able to view our photos online within days of our wedding. However, we took many months to do our part and select our favourites. Joe patiently accommodated us. We were very happy with his work. He captured the moments of our special day and produced high quality photos. We highly recommend Joe Chater and Moments In Time Photography for any special occasion. We are looking forward to hiring Joe for some family portraits in the future when we visit our family in Halifax.Thank you, Joe, for a phenomenal job.
