F.A.Q

Q: How does the booking process work?
A: Once you reach out through our website, email, or by phone, we’ll guide you in selecting the right session type and time. You’ll receive preparation tips and details about what to expect. In most cases, a deposit or session fee is required to confirm your appointment.

Q: What happens when I arrive at the studio?
A: You’ll be warmly welcomed by a member of our team. We’ll review your booking and session details. If you’re doing a graduation session, we’ll provide the appropriate gown, hood, and cap. You’ll have time to change or freshen up before we begin.

Q: What should I expect during my photo session?
A: During your session, our professional photographer will guide you through poses and expressions to help you look your best. We use a variety of backdrops and lighting setups depending on your session type. Whether it’s a graduation portrait, family session, or business headshot, we tailor the experience to you.

Q: What happens after the photo session?
A: After your shoot, you’ll receive a link to view your proofs online or be invited back for an in-person viewing. You’ll select your favorite images, and we’ll retouch them as needed. Final images, prints, or products are typically ready within 7–14 business days.

Q: Do you provide graduation gowns and hoods?
A: Yes! We provide official academic gowns, hoods, and caps for many local institutions including Dalhousie, SMU, MSVU, and NSCC. You don’t need to bring or rent anything—we’ve got you covered.

Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Because photography is a custom service, we are unable to offer refunds after your session is complete. Once the time, expertise, and studio resources have been devoted to your session, the service has been fully rendered. However, if you’re unhappy with any part of the experience, we will work with you to make it right.

Q: Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
A: Yes. We ask for at least 24 to 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with short notice may result in a loss of your session fee. No-shows are non-refundable.

Q: Can I bring pets or large groups to my session?
A: Absolutely! Please let us know ahead of time if you’ll be bringing pets or a larger group so we can prepare accordingly. We love photographing families, friends, and furry companions.

Q: Do you offer retouching and photo packages?
A: Yes. Basic retouching is included in most packages. We also offer digital images, prints, canvases, albums, and more. You’ll get to choose what suits your needs during the proofing process.

Q: Is your studio accessible? Is there parking?
A: Yes, our studio is wheelchair accessible and conveniently located with nearby parking. Let us know if you have any specific accessibility needs—we’re happy to accommodate.

Q: Still have questions?
A: We’re here to help! Feel free to contact us anytime with questions about your session, what to wear, how to prepare, or anything else. Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priority.
