As early as possible. Christmas mini sessions at Moments in Time typically sell out 4 to 6 weeks before the holidays, so we recommend booking in September or October to secure your preferred date and time.
How many people can be in a mini session?
Mini sessions work best for immediate families: couples, parents with children, or groups of up to 6 people. Larger extended-family sessions with grandparents and several households are better suited to our full-length family portrait sessions.
Can we bring our pet?
Yes, we love furry family members. Let us know when you book so we can prepare the set and add a little extra time to your slot.
Can we choose our backdrop or holiday set?
We rotate through several holiday themes each season. When you book, we will share what is available for your date, and we will do our best to match your preference.
How long until we receive our photos?
You’ll view your photos live in-studio the same day and pick your favourites. Prints are ready in 5–7 business days, or faster with express service, so they arrive well before Christmas.
Are digital files included?
Digital files are sold separately from the printed packages. Ask us when you book or view your gallery and we will help you choose the files, prints or products that suit you best.
What products are available?
From your gallery you can order professional prints, canvas wraps, metal prints, greeting cards and gifts. We also offer heirloom albums and framed wall art.
What if my child has a meltdown?
It happens, and we know what to do. We have photographed thousands of children at our Halifax studio. We slow down, take a break, use gentle encouragement and get the session back on track. We almost always end up with beautiful images.
