Every image you see here was taken in our private studio at 51 Crozier Court, where we use professional lighting, patience, and our signature “Live Shooting” approach to bring out the true character of every animal we photograph.

A Studio Built for Animals
Not every studio is equipped — or patient enough — to photograph pets well. At Moments in Time, our Halifax studio has been welcoming dogs and cats since 2005. We know how to read animal body language, when to bring out the treats, when to slow down, and when to let your pet simply explore the space until they’re ready. The result is portraits that feel natural, not forced.
Our private outdoor backyard is also available for dogs who do best with a bit of fresh air and open space before their studio session. Many of our best portraits start with five minutes outside followed by a calm, focused session under the lights.
From Gallery to Wall Art
Every portrait in this gallery is available as a fine-art print, canvas, or digital collection. After your session, you’ll view your images on our large studio monitor and choose your favourites before you leave — no waiting weeks to see how they turned out. Many of our Halifax clients choose a large canvas of their pet’s portrait as the centrepiece of their living room.
